The award winning historic wedding venue offers a truly magical experience.

Chateau Wyuna is steeped in history and is located in the foothills of Dandenong Ranges. The Chapel is a heritage that was built in 1909, and the Log Cabin was constructed in 1920. Your Wedding ceremony could take place within the romantic chapel and the wedding reception inside the Burgundy or the Treetop Room. The Log Cabin Bridal Retreat is a good backdrop for your wedding photographs.

Victoria’s ‘Best Reception Centre’ by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy.

We have also been a finalist in four other categories for over 12 years running, and recently won the Brides’ Choice Award for Best Historic Wedding Venue in the Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges.

We are therefore delighted that you and your partner are considering Chateau Wyuna for your special day.

Chateau Wyuna is a truly unique, award-winning reception centre, conveniently located at the foothills of the glorious Dandenong Ranges. Ensconced in Australian history, our original 1920’s log cabin and charming 1909 heritage listed country Chapel are situated on 6 acres of majestic gardens.

Chateau Wyuna began as the dream home of artist Clarence Earle and was frequently visited
by his friend Dame Nellie Melba. Opened to the public as a restaurant soon after the Second World War, the name Wyuna is aboriginal, meaning ‘on running waters’.

Awarded the titles of ‘Australia’s Number 1 Reception Venue’ as well as Victoria’s ‘Best Reception Centre’ by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy, Chateau Wyuna has been a finalist in 4 other categories for over 12 years running. We pride ourselves on consistently offering the finest service, and our dedicated, professional team are committed to the belief that nothing is too much trouble.

Chateau Wyuna is a magical venue with everything you could possibly need for your special day.

Chateau Wyuna looked fantastic and felt great. Nothing was an issue in the lead up to the day or on the day. They were very accommodating of my sometimes silly questions and were great when organising everything. Jacqui (our co-ordinator) had water for us at the ready after the ceremony, after the photos and all night in the bridal room for us to escape to. Everything went smoothly, the food tasted great and I have had nothing but compliments from my guests. Amazing Venue.
