A wedding at Montsalvat is what dreams are made of. With its Provincial French flair, tranquility and romance reign, making Montsalvat an ideal venue for your Wedding.

The historic buildings of Montsalvat are set within 12 acres of established gardens and offer a mix of architectural styles, from charming mud brick cottages to the splendour of the Great Hall. Montsalvat was established by Justus Jörgensen in the 1930s as an artists’ colony and it remains to this day a working arts centre, home to a number of artists.
The perfect setting for a romantic wedding, your ceremony can be held in the splendid Upper Gallery, with stained glass bay windows and polished wooden floors, or in the bluestone chapel, with its stunning wrought iron chandelier.
There are a range of picturesque locations to choose from that can accommodate between 80 and 200 guests. Montsalvat will provide you with an unforgettable reception in the Great Hall. With its rich wooden refectory tables, polished slate floors, leadlight windows, wrought iron candelabras and grand stone fireplace, it is the perfect venue any time of the year.
Guests are treated to a menu created and prepared by top food and wine professionals. Choices include a grand banquet menu, cocktail-style food or à la carte dining, complemented by an extensive beverage list. The sumptuous food is prepared fresh from the gardens of Montsalvat, using produce from some of Melbourne’s premier suppliers. Pre-dinner drinks and canapés can be served by the ornamental pond.
Montsalvat is for the bride and groom who want to share their wedding day in a unique and enchanting setting. The convenience of having your ceremony, photography and reception all at Montsalvat will save time and money and provide you with a truly memorable wedding experience.
