Meet Tania & Jay

Jay and I met when friends dared us to put our profiles on a dating site on the internet. We were drawn to each other instantly. We are both teachers and we both shared a mutual love of music. This love of music would go on to be encapsulated in all of our wedding details.

The proposal

Jay proposed to me at Sandon Point in Bulli after a lovely dinner at the restaurant that we first went to. He got down on one knee and it was so romantic and heartfelt.

Your Wedding Day

Our day was magical. It was one of the only sunny days in April and it was a gorgeous 26 degrees. We had a wedding with the theme “Love rocks”. The details were in red black and white with a touch of vintage. The boys wore guitar pick boutonnieres and converse trainers. The ceremony was in the gorgeous Rhododendron gardens and it was decked out with music note bunting, poms poms and lanterns. The bridal party arrived in a 1950s Clipper Limousine Bus that had been fully restored and it was just gorgeous. We made a grand entrance as the bus could be heard making its was up the steep road to the ceremony. The music for the ceremony and reception was carefully chosen and guests were also able to submit favourite songs. Guests partied and danced well into the night and the dance floor was never empty. The cake was designed by us and made by Tonitto cakes and had our wedding colours complete with a gorgeous customised cake topper. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was amazing in every way.
