Liz & Paul | Real Weddings Victoria

It was magnificant. It was 30 degrees, so very hot. My matron of honour wasn't sure if she could make it, as she'd gone into labour, however the hospital gave her permission to attend the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful and simple, and the people most important to us where there. We had 4 photo locations after the ceremony, and then an afternoon cocktail reception at the local racecourse. Given that we did the wedding on a tight budget - we are both still students - you couldn't tell at all. Everything was wonderful.

I think one of the most nerve-racking moments for me was to walk into the reception for the first time as "Mrs" to have everyone there waiting and looking, despite the fact that they are your closest family and friends, but it was really good. The nerves settled and the partying began! I had one of the best days of my life!!!
