Reception Venues, Melbourne, VIC
Phone: [not available]
Located in a grand Victorian mansion built in 1883 as a wedding gift from a father to daughter. The exquisite house holds a rich culinary history having been a reception centre for many years and then later the home of the eponymous Jacques Reymond Restaurant. The site has been reinvigorated by the new owners and chefs Thomas Woods and Hayden McFarland who, whilst retaining the elegant character of the house, have breathed new life into the venue.
The sophisticated surrounds provide the perfect backdrop for smaller, more intimately styled weddings. Your day would begin with a ceremony in our charming private courtyard or intimate Birch room, with canapes and Champagne to follow. Your guests would then be encouraged to move to the private dining room on the upper level of the house. Where, you will find a fully self-contained space with period features including open fireplaces, high ceilings and striking views over the courtyard and the city of Melbourne.
