A celebrant for your special occasssion.

Years of experience

I have been involved with the wedding industry for many years. I was an entertainer / singer and Master of Ceremonies at a wedding reception centre for over 10 years and was delighted when finally appointed by The Attorney General as Civil Marriage Celebrant.

My experience has shown me that weddings, like people, really need to be treated with respect, dignity, individuality and maybe a laugh or two as well....

Always professional

However, I consider that my services as a Celebrant require a very serious responsibility. And rightly so. Your wedding day is one of the most momentous and exciting days of you life. A serious and professional approach is to be expected during your ceremony.

Of course, as important as your wedding day is, I do encourage some light-hearted comments about the bridal couple during the ceremony's welcome and introduction. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere should enable everybody to really enjoy your special day. I do my utmost to provide a professional, dignified, stress-free and happy day for all to enjoy and remember.

Your own style...

During our first meeting we will discuss your particular needs. I do have many examples of styles, words, readings and customs of old, to include during your ceremony. I will be happy for you to take a folder of these suggestions home. At you own leisure, you will hopefully find the words that will suit you. When you have, we should meet again to discuss and fine-tune any words and / or readings.

It’s your ceremony...

Your ceremony is precisely that: "YOUR CEREMONY". Although some legal words from the 'Marriage Act' are required, an Authorised Celebrant is there to witness officially, your solemn oath to each other. There really is nothing to be scared of. Your wedding day will be one of the most happiest days of your life and I would truly be privileged to be a part of it.
