Authorised Civil Celebrant in February 1977
- Since then he has
conducted nearly 5000 weddings at many different locations
(twice in the baskets of hot air balloons)
- He will assist you in
arranging the Marriage Service that best suits your own
requirements. The complimentary wedding booklet presented to
each couple has many different vows and readings from which to
choose

humoured, relaxed but dignified style that will put you at your

occasion". He will help you in every possible way.

child naming and reaffirmation of vows ceremonies in his 26 years'
celebrancy and (since 1988) many funeral services.

- Was a former school
teacher and school administrator
- From 1979 until 1994, he
was Councillor of the City of Footscray, serving as Mayor three
times.
- He is a Member and past
President of the Footscray Rotary Club
- He has always had a great
interest in music, poetry, drama and public speaking and loves
his role as a celebrant

- Ted was the recipient of the
Shaw Neilson Award for Poetry in 1984. He will be pleased to help you
write your own wedding verse or perhaps write a poem for you to suit
your own special circumstances. Here is an example of Ted's work:
YOUR WEDDING DAY
It has often been
said that the day you are wed
Is the happiest day of your life,
Whilst the bells are still pealing two lovers are sealing
Their promise as husband and wife.
As they say 'I Do',
their true love shines through
Their tears of affection and yearning;
As they kiss and embrace love lights up her face
With desire in their eyes brightly burning.
Then they walk down
the aisle with a wonderful smile
Of emotion, devotion and joy
Of love never-ending, two lives that are blending
No upset could ever destroy.
Let the
"Wedding March" boom, as the bride and the groom
Greet their family and friends on the stair.
As we proffer our love, a single white dove
