Overnewton Castle was built in 1849 and now stands as a prominent heritage building.

This Scottish Baronial style castle set amidst 4 acres of private tranquil English gardens makes the perfect backdrop for your special wedding day.

You can get married in the historical garden or chapel. The non-denominational Chapel has exquisite hand painted features and a glass ceiling. Wedding ceremonies and photos can be held in the Private Gardens, an original 1882 Wrought Iron Gazebo or The Chapel.

You may wish to have pre dinner drinks in the garden, or you may choose to be served in our elaborate sitting rooms.

The Grand Dining Room features an elegant chandelier and bay windows overlooking picturesque gardens. The maximum seat 120 people with the dance floor in the same room or we can do 150 people with the dance floor in adjoining room.

We have an on site accommodation Bridal Suite - 'Overnewton Cottage'. A stunning double storey retreat perfect for your romantic honeymoon night. The Cottage has been meticulously furnished in a contemporary style with luxury in mind. Featuring a large oval spa with views of the valley. King bed, large plasma TV/DVD and a small kitchen.
