Heatwave Band’s newly formed line-up is bigger and better than ever before, bringing together superb musicians from all corners of the Melbourne music scene. A Motown-Soul renaissance was our calling and funky beats are our weapon of choice. We have worked hard to create a mix of great music that brings vintage sounds together with modern beats to bring great dance grooves to your waiting ears.


Heatwave entertains audiences with a broad repertoire combining classics by artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and The Jackson Five with the funky tunes of today's popular dance artists such as Madonna, Rogue Traders, Scissor Sisters, Jamiroquai and Kylie.
