An unposed, stylish and authentic wedding documentary
Dream Engine’s wedding documentary-style is unique in the industry. It has been built on training at VCA Film School, and refined through ten years of wedding documentary production.

'Documentary-style' is a film-making technique that is devoted to capturing the truth of the moment on film in the most authentic, natural and uncontrived way. We apply this philosophy in creating your Wedding DVD so as to most closely capture the feeling of what it was like to be there.

Unposed
The best event DVD's are the ones where the participants feel free to relax, connect with friends and family, and really give themselves to the moment. Rather than directing you, or asking you to pose in unnatural situations, we unobtrusively capture the real story of the night as it unfolds. Often the best moments are the ones that occur when you're not aware of the camera.

Sounds Good
Sound is often a neglected area when it comes to wedding DVD's. All too often, traditional wedding DVD’s discard the real sound, replacing it with music. While Dream Engine makes extensive use of the music you choose for the edit, we pay close attention to recording and including the real sound of the day.

In the Edit
Documentary-style editing is all about capturing the essence of the people in the film, and the energy between them. We spend a number of days skillfully selecting, refining and combining the shots to convey the emotion and beauty of the day.

Hopefully by now you have seen Dream Engine's demo and got a sense of their style. If it was the intimate, emotive, documentary style, and the sophisticated editing that appealed to you, then I can confirm, based on our own experience, that 'what you see is what you get'.
