D'Alliance deliver arrangements of sublime Irish and Scottish tunes and songs, using flute, fiddle, guitar, Irish whistles and piano. Add to this the brilliantly devised original songs and impressive guitar technique of Irishman Marty Kelly and you have the essence that is D'Alliance. Duo Amore consists of two well known and experienced performers in classical and Celtic Rock ensembles in the Geelong/ Melbourne area. They are, on violin, Emily Anderson (BMus/ BTeach LMusA) and on flute, Prue Farnsworth (BMus/Grad Dip in Music .LMus A). Specializing in weddings and corporate functions Duo Amore perform a wide selection of flute/violin duets from the classical repertoire, with an interest also in traditional Celtic music, and can provide personalized arrangements of any music to suit the individual or event.
