Beyond the adjoining Loggia, glass doors open onto
a secluded private garden that remains a favourite choice for formal
ceremonies, garden parties or pre-dinner drinks.
Evening celebrations are heavenly! The dance floor is illuminated
by the warm glow from flames flickering atop wrought iron candelabra.
Fairy lights sparkle from the balustrades of the two internal balconies,
each perfect to give photographers elevation for a panoramic view
of the whole reception area, or to highlight your night’s
entertainment.
The chalet, which has operated continuously since 1928 as a preferred
venue for all life’s celebrations, will accommodate up to
180 wedding guests (seated, with dance floor) or 300 for cocktails
(standing). It is fully licensed until 1am and offers ample unrestricted
free parking on site.
You’ll be delighted by the highest standard of food and personalised
service guaranteed by Managers, Suzy and Andrew Connard.
It is indeed fitting that this Chalet is deemed an icon of social
significance, much photographed and immortalised in the memoirs
of a great connoisseur of middle class Melbourne, Barry Humphries. |
