Is it common for a bride to get made up a few times before the wedding day in different styles, and then choose the best? Or do I trust my makeup artist to get it right first time?

Yes it is quite common to book in with your Makeup Artist a few times before your Wedding Day if you are uncertain as to which look best suits you.

I always suggest a Trial at least 2-3 months before your Wedding day as you can discuss and trial makeup looks taking into consideration your skin, eyes and hair tones to suit the dress and accessory colours you may be wearing on the day and as well as getting to know each other, you will also be able to see the longevity of your makeup application and experience the products your Makeup Artist will use. Taking digital images at your Trial will also help you decide which Makeup Look feels right for you.

A good Makeup Artist will advise you on all the tricks of the trade to a make sure you still look fabulous for your Photos, during your reception or late into the night.

Good luck for your Special Day!
