Natural Family Photography

Natural Family Photography is a husband and wife team; the former, Ross – internationally awarded photographer, the latter – Rochelle, multi-skilled producer and administrator. Both life-long creative artists, we were inspired to launch Natural Family Photography as a means to satisfy private requests for our services which had previously only been offered commercially.

As well as our broad-based experience and high-end commercial equipment, we apply the same ‘anything is possible’ attitude to our wedding photography as we do our commercial, advertising and editorial work: the result is imagery that is personal, meaningful, affordable and never approached in a ‘one-size-fits-all’ fashion.

Natural Family Photography is dedicated to creating timeless works of photographic art that tell the unique stories of those we work with.   Drawing from the combined creative and technical experience of portrait, editorial and fashion photography, Ross brings a fresh approach to the weddings he shoots, and a calming ability to quietly and confidently navigate through all the planned and unexpected moments of the day; culminating in a collection of beautiful images and a positive experience for couples and guests alike.

A photojournalistic approach is very much at the core of his wedding photography style, which emphasises natural, candid and unposed photographs. While this style of photography is most often requested to document the emotions, events and sense of celebration of the wedding, formal photographs can always be accommodated, with packages individually tailored to each couple’s wishes.

We consider the responsibility of wedding photography to be an absolute privilege and welcome hearing from couples who are attracted to our style of photography.

We service greater Melbourne and beyond: Ross is available for travel and destination weddings outside of Victoria, and we can arrange delivery of prints, albums and finished pieces nationally and internationally.
