About Hand Engraving:
Hand Engraving is the term used for engraving items with hand-held tools as opposed to the more modern laser, pantographic or computer engraving.
It is the old fashioned way where the hand engraver gives time, great care and individual attention to each item. The engraver draws upon a number of different techniques to gain the final individual result.
The techniques used can vary greatly between hand engravers. At Gift Engraving we use a combination of both the palm-held gravers (a long thin steel chisel) and hand-held rotary flexi-drive with various shaped burrs. Depending on the complexities of the item being engraved, either one or the other, or a combination of both of these techniques are used.

Shoulder straps can be made thinner or widened without modification due to material used. Color- Ivory. Satin material with a few layers to give it beautiful faminine shape. Very comfortable to wear. The train is not as long as on the standard picture but rather as seen on the pictures from the actual wedding. Dry cleaned. Paid $5,300 in the shop. Will sell for $1,200. Very comfortable to wear.
