The Ben Gillard quartet is an experienced, professional and versatile band. The style of the band can range from lounge jazz, smooth standards, cool groovy songs to funk/pop covers to suit your event. The band is comprised of male voice, guitar, bass and drums which gives a unique sound and provides the perfect atmosphere for any wedding or special event.
Ben Gillard, Sam Leske (Guitar), Nikki Stedman (Bass) and Holly Thomas (Drums) all met while studying the jazz performance degree in 2007. The band formed shortly after and began performing regular and one-off gigs at various venues and festivals around South Australia.
The Ben Gillard Quartet brings a unique twist to Jazz with four very musical and educated players, who have all played many different styles in their musical careers. The band only pushes on stronger and continues to blossom as it becomes more and more a part of Adelaide's entertainment scene.
