What: Platform Wedges
These shoes are lifesavers with their chic high but comfortable heels. The great thing about wedges is that you can wear them almost all day and are both comfortable and flattering on. Go for classic colours (black, navy or red) to keep it simple and to mix and match with any outfit or go for a print (spots, stripes) to add a nautical touch to your look. Either way, wedges beat crippling stilettos, and look more appropriate on holidays.
Where: Any chain shoe store should have these in their current ranges.
What: Travel Wallet and Passport covers
This might sound like a bit of a silly one, however do you really want to run the risk of losing your passports on your honeymoon?
No, we didn’t think so. By having a “holder” make it a habit of putting your passports away as soon as you check in/pass through immigration. Its also a good excuse to get matching his and hers passport covers and document holders… awwww!
Where: Pick them up at any of those new stationary shops popping up all over the place!
Long plane trips, waits in airport lounges, lounging on the beach? Keep a classic tucked away in your handbag and be whisked away to a land far away! We love Breakfast at Tiffany’s, but there are literally thousands of classics that can be picked up from airport newsagents or downloaded onto your iPad/Kindle. A good book will keep you company and help while away the long delays and prevent you from having an argument on your honeymoon when it all gets too much!
