Im looking for bomboniere that can also double as a place setting/name card- any suggestions?
I am currently looking for table decorations so I will be sure to check out this website. Thank you!
Alys,
I also wanted a favour that acted as a place card so not to clutter the tables, but still look awesome. I found some gorgeous little white filligree treasure chests (they were about 60c ea!), and we are going to fill with handmade chocs, wrap with ribbon to match our theme & add a little tag with the guests names & a little thank you..
Good luck!
Great idea that myself and my darling hadn’t even thought of. We have the challenge of bomboniere that combines Persian tradition with a little bit of Australia plus contains something that overseas visitors can take home with them to remember the day. Fingers crossed.
Alys – if you want a bomboniere that doubles as a place setting, you could look at mini photo frames or perhaps glass coasters? Just a few ideas i have been looking at aswell
I have been to a few weddings where they have had photoframes as bomboniere and placecards and if done right they are excellent. I have also come across really nice candle holders with guest names in printed. They are on the top of my list so far. This site though i will definately check out. Thanks
Alys,
Here are a few suggestions for you based on other Weddings that I’ve been to:
- A candle that has a label wrapped around it with the guest’s name printed on
- A candy bag or pouch can have a tag hanging off it with the guest’s name
- You can get all sorts of souvenir photograph holders (an ornament or stand with a clip on the top) that you can add a placecard to
If I think of any others I’ll post again!
What beautiful table decorations that double as bomboniere!!! They are just gorgeous. I know all the women at my wedding would LOVE something like this. Great idea
Alys, I’m doing the same thing for my wedding. We’re having personalised wine glass charms as our bombonier’s as well as name places. I’m going through these guys,http://www.engraveworks.com.au/ they have the best deal I have found so far!
Akys, i’m having small photo frames that i can place a name card and thank you inside of, that way they have their bon bonierre and place card, they also look really nice if you theme the inside paper with your table setting.
Sorry whoops ALYS… hahah hit the wrong button
For our wedding
we are getting mini watering cans and putting peoples names on them with a flower bulb inside.
Its a place card, they look cute with a colour ribbon (matching your theme) with the name printed on whit paper on top.
I think its a funky spring favour
Alys
My partner and i are both sweet tooths and after attending a friends weddingwhere they had chocolate bar bonbonierre as place cards, we’ve decided upon using something similar to the chocolate bars you can get from chocolateworks.com.au. They can be moulded to your own design and wrapped in many different coloured foils and speciality papers, once again from your own design to match your theme and start from around $3.20 each
The other idea we are looking at is foil wrapped chocolate hearts in boxes with a ribbon and name tag which we’ve worked out to start around $2
Thanks ladies- All excellent ideas!!
Gorgeous bomboniere.. Nice
