Christmas and New Years is one of the most popular times of the year for marriage proposals and its not hard too see why! Being able to share your exciting news with your friends and family at a special occasion makes the Holiday season just that little bit more memorable. We love it at bride Online when brides contact us and tell us about their proposals, here are just a few that have a “holiday” theme
One of our bride online readers wrote in to tell us that her fiancee proposed last Xmas day by wrapping up her ring in an enormous box and leaving it under the tree on Christmas Day. His theory was that it was going to be a HUGE surprise, so he wrapped it in a HUGE box, rather than a tell take small ring sized box.
Say it in lights
String up your Christmas lights to spell out your poropsal or take your future fiancee to one of those neighborhoods that go all out with the Christmas decorations and ask around to see if one of the houses wants to be involved in your proposal.
Snow and Sand
if you are spending your Xmas in the northern hemisphere get creative with the white stuff and write your proposal in the snow… for those in the northern hemisphere, head to the beach and substitute snow for sand!
Start your new year off with a reason to celebrate! Exchange kisses at mid night and pop the question and them pop open a bottle of bubbles!
We would love to hear from any new brides to be… did you receive a marriage proposal during the holiday season? tell us about it!
