One of this seasons hottest trends in wedding photography is a new and fresh approach to capturing candid moments with a vintage and low fi feel. The bohemian and floaty seventies feel is making a come back with brides and grooms going for less posed black and white/ styles shots and going for natural washed out colour feel. These images have a textural and relaxed feel and are perfect for outdoor photographs in gardens, fields and event styled settings. The washed out colours create a romantic and dream like feel which compliments more relaxed and non traditional weddings. Vintage wedding photography is certainly making a come back back, especially with bridal portraits within an outdoor environment as you suggested.
it’s so nice to see wedding photography styles like this make a comeback. It looks dreamy and romantic, but I hope that clarity doesn’t suffer for it – you need some sharper photos for posterity too!
