This hand-crafted ‘Odette’ gown by Mariana Hardwick is just too beautiful to be hanging in a dark cupboard for the next 50 years. It’s a timeless classic that begs to be worn and enjoyed as much as I did. The ‘Odette’ is made from 100% pure silk, with a French lace overlay and a touch of crystal detailing around the bust. There is a zip at the back of the gown concealed by buttons which could be converted to a lace-up back if desired. There are also several buttons on the inside of the bottom of the gown to hang the train during the reception. Worn only once and professionally dry-cleaned (certificate provided), this gown is very supportive and comfortable to wear, sit and dance in. I didn’t want to take it off!
